The State Election Commissioner, Mr. Ilirjan Celibashi met with the German Ambassador, Mr. Peter Zingraf.

The use of technology in elections, the vote of Albanians living abroad, funding of political parties, training of the election administration, voters’ education of voters, and other issues were some of the topics discussed during the meeting.

Commissioner Celibashi said: “The time available does not favor us, but we are fully committed to the successful conduct of these elections.”

“The Central Election Commission has a crucial role to play in preparing for the parliamentary elections of April 25, 2021. Germany supports the Commission in its work, as it gives an important contribution to ensuring a fair election process”, Ambassador Zingraf stated.
