The Regulatory Commission reviewed the draft Decision “On the use of recording cameras and monitors to display ballots in ballot counting centers for April 25, 2021 parliamentary elections”.

The draft decision was reported by the State Election Commissioner Mr. Ilirjan Celibashi, who underlined that in order to monitor the ballot counting process in each BCC, the Central Elections Commission will use a parallel monitoring system that will be located in the Central Elections Commission premises, watching these BCCs through monitors, in real time.

The recording cameras and monitors (screens) with high resolution for displaying the ballots before their evaluation in the Ballot Counting Centers (BCC), are installed in the counting desk in such a way as to enable the recording of the evaluation of each ballot paper. The recording is aired in real time in the monitors placed in front of the election observers, is stored in an electronic media and is delivered to the Central Elections Commission together with other election materials.

The Regulatory Commission unanimously decided on the use of the recording cameras and monitors (screens) to record and display the ballots in the BCC and the use of the system for monitoring ballot counting in BCC from the CEC  premises, in April 25, 2021 parliamentary elections.
