Based on the Electoral Code, Decision no.5, dated 07.01.2021 of the Regulatory Commission and Decision no.40, dated  23.12.2020 and Act no.5, dated 07.01.2021nof the State Election Commissioner, the Socialist Party of Albania, the Democratic Party of Albania,  Socialist Movement for Integration and Social Democratic Party are eligible to submit proposals for members and secretaries of CEAZ. These political parties submitted within the deadline their proposals, which were reviewed by the CEC Administration.

Based on the legal procedure, in cases where irregularities or missing documentation were found, the political parties were informed in order to complete the documentation.

Currently, the CEC has completed the review of proposals and the relevant documentation for members and secretaries of the CEAZ. The CEC found that DP, SPI and Socialist Movement for Integration meet the legal requirements of the proposals, while SDP has made partial proposals for CEAZ members.

At the end of the submission, review and completion of the documentation for the CEAZ members and secretaries, the CEC will proceed with their appointment and later with the constitution of the CEAZs.
