Central Election Albania along with International IDEA and Finnish Rule of Law Center organized today a table-top event about potential electoral scenarios.

This table-top exercise, part of the CEC’s strategic vision for preparedness, aims to enhance institutional capacities to implement out-of-country voting for Albanian voters abroad in the 2025 parliamentary elections.

The exercise simulated scenarios such as cyberattacks or technical glitches, fostering critical discussions on crisis management, risk detection, communication strategies, legal considerations, and recovery.

Participants assessed response protocols, improve inter-agency coordination, and drew on expertise from Finland and IDEA.

Through pre-briefings, scenario presentations, discussions, and debriefings, the exercise identified potential gaps, enhanced collaboration, and refined incident response strategies, ensuring robust electoral integrity.
