The Central Election Commission, through this announcement, would like to make a public call for expression of interest for monitors in April 25, 2021 elections.

The applicants should meet the following criteria:

a) Diploma of the fifth level  according to the Albanian qualifications framework (KShK);

b) No criminal records;

c) During the last two years, the applicant, his parents, spouse and adult children should have not been members of any political party.

The applicants should submit the following documentation within February 11, 2021 electronically to the official website not the CEC or submit them physically at the CEC office:

1. A cover letter for the position of monitor, containing the reason of the application, experience of the applicant and his contacts;
2. First level diploma (bachelor) or a professional certificate that proves the fifth level of Albanian qualifications framework (KSHK), issued by an accredited higher education institution;
3. At least one reference given by his current or former employer, or teacher of higher education institutions.
4. Copy of ID documents;
5. Self – declaration stating that he has not been convicted;
6. Self- declaration stating that the applicant, his parents, spouse and adult children have not been members of any political party during the last 2 (two) years;
7. Medical report.

At the end of the application deadline, a special Commission established with the order of the State Election Commissioner, will check, within 2 (two) days, if the candidates meet the criteria mentioned above.

Within five days after the shortlist is approved, the special Commission will conduct interviews with the shortlisted candidates,  in order to assess their communication and social skills. Within two (2) days, a lot is cast to appoint the monitors.
