Today, the Complaints and Sanctions Commission reviewed request no. 1 of the State Election Commission with the subject “Request for imposing an administrative sanction, pursuant to decision no. 209, dated 11.12.2024 “On the approval of the report on the findings after the evaluation of the video recordings during the implementation of electronic voting in the municipalities of Kamëz, Vorë and Elbasan, for the elections for local government bodies of May 14, 2023”.

At the end of the review, the KAS partially accepted the request of the State Election Commissioner and decided to increase the administrative sanction of a fine, from 3000 to 5000 lek for 17 operators of Electronic Voting and Counting Equipment.
