Today, 96 election campaign monitors for the Assembly elections, dated 11 May 2025, were trained.
Divided into two groups, the monitors selected from the 12 regions of the country were trained on their legal duties, rights and responsibilities, in accordance with the Electoral Code and the CEC acts in force.
Their training program focused on the public activities of institutions during the 4-month period before the election date and the election campaign.
Also, standardized reporting formats, reporting methods, and electronic reporting on the platform set up by the CEC for the financing of political parties (PERF) were addressed, as the monitors will report electronically in real time during the election campaign.
The monitors are monitoring compliance with legal obligations by electoral entities and the activities of public institutions, with the aim of preventing the misuse of public resources.
The training was carried out in collaboration with the organization Qëndresa Qytetare and the American Democratic Institute (NDI Albania) and supported by the British Embassy in Tirana.
