Reporting of activities of a public character is in compliance with article 92 of the Electoral Code and the CEC decision no. 9 dated 24.12.2020, with the aim of preventing the misuse of state resources for electoral campaign purposes.
The central and local public institutions and state agencies and / or entities have the obligation to report on the CEC interface all the activities they plan to organize 4 months before the election date. Reporting is done through personalized access by the person who is responsible for the administrative management of the respective institutions.
The interface enables the reporting date, time, type of activity, themes, the maximal level of participation, honored guests, the planned speakers and media coverage.
The reported activities are displayed on the interface, while a special body set up by the CEC monitors and administers in real time all the reported information. In cases when the CEC decides to prevent an activity from taking place, this activity is classified as prohibited.
The “Banned Activities” interface is easily accessible to the public, media, civil society and to anyone who interested in receiving information on the reported activities and those prohibited by the CEC. The public and any other interested party can report / inform in the cases they consider an activity to be in violation of the law.
