The State Election Commissioner, held a public meeting pursuant to paragraph 2, article 19, letter n, paragraph 1, article 19 of the law no. 10019, dated 29.12.2008 “The Electoral Code of the Republic of Albania” as amended, to review and adopt acts in his competence.

The Commissioner reviewed the draft decisions to review the request of 16 political parties and one initiating committee to be registered as electoral subjects in April 25,2021 parliamentary elections. After reviewing the documentation, the Commissioner decided to register the following as electoral subjects:

1. Pensioners’ Popular Union Party
2. Alliance for European Equality and Justice Party
3. National Conservative Albania Party
4. Albanian Laborist Movement Party
5. Liberal Democrat Union Party
6. Socialist Party of Albania
7. Socialist Movement for Integration Party
8. Human Rights Union Party
9. Democratic Party
10. Albanian Republican Party
11. Demochristian Alliance Party
12. Greek Ethnic Minority Party
13. Hashtag Initiative Party
14. Social Democrat Party
15. National Alliance Party
16. Social Democracy Party
17. Initiating committee that will coordinate the work for the representation of Mr. Iljaz Shehu as a candidate proposed by the voters in the Electoral Zone of Lezhe Region.
