The State Election Commissioner Mr. Ilirjan Celibashi met today with the officials of the Council of Europe and EU Delegation in Tirana, Mrs. Evgeni Evgeniev, Mrs. Zahra Ahmadova, Mrs. Frederique Hanotier, Mr. Olsi Dekovi and Mrs. Ersida Sefa.

Commisioner Celibashi appreciated the contribution given for the Central Election Commission, for the funding and the implementation of the platform of financial reporting of political parties and Phase III action plan of the Horizontal Program of European Union and Council of Europe.  

The focus of the dialogue was achievement of sustainable and strategic actions for the CEC, not only for the election years, but also post election years. 

The participants agreed that building of online platforms is the best example of innovation, which cannot be found in any other country of Western Balkan,  turning the CEC into a reference point for the other countries in the region.
