Local elections of May 14, 2023 – 29 candidates for mayor and municipal councils are sent for in-depth verification

At the end of the preliminary verification of the self-declaration forms (decriminalization) in implementation of the law 138/2015 “On guaranteeing the integrity of the persons who are elected, appointed or exercise public functions”, in the assessment of the content of the statements made by the candidates for the elections of 14 May 2023, the State Election Commissioner decided to send for in-depth verification:

1. Mr. Kreshnik Hajdari, candidate for mayor, proposed by the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, for Kuçovo Municipality.
2. Mr. Artur Bushi, candidate for Mayor proposed by the “Socialist Party of Albania” electoral subject, for Kruja Municipality.
3. Mr. Kristian Shkreli, candidate for Mayor proposed by the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania” for the Municipality of Vau i Dejës.
4. Mr. Beqir Mulaj, candidate for Mayor proposed by the “Socialist Party of Albania” electoral subject, for Has Municipality.
5. Mr. Rezeart Tusha, candidate for Mayor proposed by the electoral subject “Together We Win” Coalition, for Shijak Municipality.
6. Mr. Elvis Hajdërlli, candidate for Mayor proposed by the electoral subject  “Together We Win” Coalition, for Devoll Municipality.
7. Mr. Dhionisios (Alfred) Petro Beleri, candidate for Mayor proposed by the electoral subject “Together We Win” Coalition, for Himar Municipality.
8. Mr. Agron Kapllanaj, candidate for Mayor proposed by the electoral subject “Democratic Party”, for the Municipality of Mallakastër.
9. Mr. Abedin Oruçi, candidate for Mayor proposed by the electoral subject “Party for the Europeanization and Integration of Albania”, for Kukës Municipality.
10. Mr. Arjan Xheta, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the “Democratic Party” electoral entity, for Bulqiza Municipality.
11. “Mr. Ertor Ndreu, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “Democratic Party”, for Mirdita Municipality.
12. Mr. Euland Daja, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “Democratic Party”, for Shijak Municipality.
13. Mr. Fatlind Sokolaj, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “Democratic Party”, for Tropoja Municipality.
14. Mr. Ylli Xhafa, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “Democratic Party”, for the Municipality of Bulqiza.
15. Mr. Syrja Çobo, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “Democratic Party”, for the Municipality of Berat.
16. Mr. Adriatik Sallahu, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “National Arbror Alliance” Party, for Tropoja Municipality.
17. Mr. Pashk Gjetaj, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “Legality Movement” Party, for Pukë Municipality.
18. Mr. Sokol Kullolli, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “Albanian Democratic Reforms Party”, for Gramsh Municipality.
19. Mr. Afrim Kica, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “Legality Movement”, for the Municipality of Tirana.
20. Mr. Kreshnik Myrtollari, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “Agrarian Environmentalist Party”, for the Municipality of Tirana.
21. Mr. Arbis Vjerdha, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “Agrarian Environmentalist Party”, for the Municipality of Shkodër.
22. Mr. Armelin Koni, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “LZHK Progressive Alliance”, for Shijak Municipality.
23. Mr. Arsen Belaj, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject Party “LZHK Progressive Alliance”, for the Municipality of Vlora.
24. Mr. Ali Gjeta, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject Party “LZHK Progressive Alliance”, for Bulqiza Municipality.

27. Mr. Sokol Sava, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, for Dibër Municipality. 
28. Mr. Valter Hasanaj, candidate for member of the municipal council, proposed by the electoral entity “Socialist Party of Albania”, for the Municipality of Vlora
29. Mr. Emil Musliaj, candidate for member of the municipal council proposed by the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, for Fushë – Arrëz Municipality.

Decision-making for the verification of the data declared in the self-declaration form of the self-declaring subject Mr. Qerim Ismail Ismailaj, candidate for Mayor proposed by the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, for the Municipality of Mallakastër, was postponed for the next session.
