CEC: TV Kopliku to stop airing political ads outside the allocated time

The State Election Commissioner, during today’s public session, approved the working documentation templates that will be used by CEAZ 26, Vora Municipality, where the electronic voting and counting process (PEVN) will be implemented in local by-elections of March 6, 2022.

The commissioner accredited the observers of the Embassies of France, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, Spain and Germany, as well as representatives of the “Top Channel” media, to observe mayoral by-elections.

The Commissioner also authorized the change of location of two voting centers in the municipality of Shkodra and approved the instruction for the use  of CEC application in local by-elections of March 6, 2022. Through the application “CEC” VCC members or of the CEAZs, and if needed, the operators, will inform the CEC about the progress of the voting process, the turn-out in the voting, the issues that emerge, the delivery of the electoral material, their decision-making and others.

Commissioner Celibashi also reproached  TV Koplik, and warned that immediate measures  will be taken to stop the broadcasting of political advertisements outside the allocated slot, provided by the Electoral Code.
