The State Election Commissioner reviewed the request of the “Together We Win” Coalition for registration as an electoral subject in the partial elections for Mayor of Himara Municipality, which will take place on August 4, 2024.

The commissioner decided to register the Coalition “Together We Win” represented by Mr. Sali Berisha and will consist of 10 electoral subjects:

1. Freedom Party – Partia e Lirisë (PL);
2. Republican Party – Partia Republikane (PR);
3. Demochristian Paty – artia Demokristiane (PDK);
4. National Front Party – Partia Balli Kombëtar (PBK);
5. Union Party for Human Rights – Partia Bashkimi për të Drejtat e Njeriut (PBDNJ);
6. New Democratic Spirit – Fryma Re Demokratike (FRD);
7. Democratic Party – Partia Demokratike (PD);
8. Environmental Agrarian Party – Partia Agrare Ambjentaliste (PAA);
9. Democratic National Front Party – Partia Balli Kombëtar Demokrat (PBKD);
10. Albanian Democratic Union Party – Partia Bashkimi Demokrat Shqiptar (PBD).

In today’s public session, the Commissioner filled the vacancies created in the 3 municipal councils:

• Gramsh Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, Mrs. Alketa Bici;
• Lezhë Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the electoral subject “Green Party”, Mr. Zek Doda.
• Kavajë Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania” Mr. Qerem Çelpica.

Furthermore, it was assigned the location of some voting centers in private buildings, for the partial elections for Mayor of Himarë.
