The Commission of Sanctions and Complaints examined the elements of the form and content of the complaint no. 42, filed by Socialist Party of Albania, requiring “Amendment of decision no. 31, dated 28.03.2023, of CEAZ no. 90, Saranda. Non-registration of the candidate for Mayor of local government unit, Mr. Gjergj Filip Merkuri”.

At the end of the preliminary review, CSC decided to reject the appeal.

During a public session held today, CSC reviewed the complaint no. 41, dated 31.03.2023, filed by the Alliance of Macedonians for European Integration Party, with the object “Request for registration of multi-name list of candidates for municipal council members in Pustec municipality, Korçë district”.

At the end of the review, CSC decided to  pass the complaint and require CEAZ no. 71, Pustec, to accept and review the request for registration of multi-name list of candidates for municipal council members in Pustec municipality, Korça District, of the Alliance of Macedonians for European Integration Party”.

In addition, in a public session, CSC reviewed the complaint no. 39, filed by the complainant “Hashtag Initiative” Party, with object “Appeal to Decision no. 10, dated 28.03.2023 of the CEAZ no. 82, Dropull Municipality”, for non-registration of the candidate for mayor of “Hashtag Initiative” Party.

At the end of the review, CSC decided by a majority of votes to dismiss the appeal of Hashtag Initiative” Party, the candidate for mayor, Mr. Kosta Garo and leave in force the Decision no. 10, dated 28.03.2023, of the CEAZ no. 82, Dropull Municipality”, on non- registration of the candidate for mayor of “Hashtag Initiative” Party
