During today’s public session the State Election Commissioner approved the quantity of ballots that will be produced for the municipalities of Elbasan, Kamez,Vore, where electronic voting and counting will be held for local government elections of May 14,2023.

According to the data processed, it results that in the three municipalities of  Elbasan, Kamëz and  Vorë, the total number of VCs are 401 VCs and the number of voters is 310.846. 

By adding 2 per cent on the voters’ number,  the number of ballots to be produced for May 14,2023 local government elections is 316.850 ballots.

Upon the request of political subjects, the Commissioner decided to postpone the decision on the draft Decision ” On granting the authorization on the change of location of VC no. 1977/00, VC no. 1977/01, VC no. 1977/02, VC no. 1977/03, VC no. 2021/00, VC no. 2021/01, Tiranë Municipality,  VC no. 1080/00,  Bulqizë Municipality, for May 14,2023 local government elections” and draft Decision ” On designation of political parties that will propose  the third and fourth member of ballot counting teams for local government elections of May 14,2023 local government elections.
