Today, in a public session, the State Election Commissioner evaluated the report on public activities for the period February 9 – February 15, 2025. The Commissioner decided to initiate administrative proceedings against:

• The Ministry of Tourism and Environment
• KESH sh.a
• The General Staff of the Armed Forces

Additionally, the Commissioner reviewed the reports submitted by election campaign monitors for the monitoring period from February 10 to February 15, 2025.

During this period, monitors submitted a total of 96 monitoring reports. Based on the assessment of these reports, 11 activities organized by political parties and 33 offices opened for preparatory campaign activities for the parliamentary elections of May 11, 2025, were identified. No violations were reported by the election campaign monitors.

The following complaints were reviewed administratively:

• Denunciation no. 5, dated 10.02.2025, submitted by the Democratic Party: The CEC decided to close the administrative investigation concerning the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, the Minister of Education and Sports, the Minister of Tourism and Environment, the Minister of State for Relations with Parliament, and the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Albania.
• Denunciation no. 9, dated 10.02.2025, submitted by the Democratic Party: The CEC decided to postpone the public session, as the complaint needs to be supplemented with a specific subject.
• Denunciation no. 10, dated 10.02.2025, submitted by the Democratic Party against the Mayor of Mat and the Minister of State for Youth and Children: The decision will be announced in the next session.
• Denunciation no. 11, dated 11.02.2025, submitted by the Coalition for Reforms, Integration, and Consolidated Institutions (KRIIK) against the Minister of Education and Sports, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, and the Minister of the Interior: The decision will be announced in the next session.
