Today, the Appeals and Sanctions Commission reviewed in a public session the appeal request no. 1, filed by the Albanian Parliament with the subject “Objection to point 2 of decision no. 83, dated 11.02.2025, of the State Election Commissioner”.

At the end of the review, the KAS, by majority vote, partially accepted the appeal of the Albanian Parliament and decided to repeal point 2 of decision no. 83/2025 of the State Election Commissioner, in which it is recommended to the Albanian Parliament not to include for consideration in the plenary session the draft law “On the mountains package” and the draft law “On some additions and amendments to law no. 92, dated 24.07.2014, “On value added tax in the Republic of Albania”.
