The State Election Commissioner, held a public meeting held pursuant to paragraph 2, article 19,  letter “n”, paragraph 1, article 19, of the law no.10019, dated 29.12.2008, “The Electoral Code of the Republic of Albania”, as amended, in order to review and adopt acts in his competence.

After reviewing the draft decisions, the State Election Commissioner decided to register “The  Popular Union- Emigration- Hour of Albania and Conservatives Alliance” as electoral subject for parliamentary elections of April 25,2021 and register Mr. Elton Lahim Debreshi, as a  candidate for MP proposed by the voters.

In addition, the Commissioner approved work documentation templates to be used by Voting Center Commissions, defined the rules for collection, administration and publication of the preliminary elections results and templates of documentation to be used for tabulation of results, approved the location of several Voting Centers in private establishments and decided to fill the vacancy in Berat Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-member list of Socialist Party of Albania, Ms. Malva Syrja Aliaj.

The Commissioner decided to accredit the reporters of “Birn Albania” center and “Report Tv” to observe the elections.
