The State Election Commissioner, during today’s public session, approved:
- The program for the education, information, and awareness of voters;
- The program for the education, information, and awareness of voters with disabilities;
- The program for the education, information, and awareness of national minorities.
The programs for educating voters about the 2025 Albanian Parliament elections set out the main goals and objectives that must be achieved for the education, information, and awareness of voters during the election period. The programs aim to raise awareness about voter participation and to inform voters about the entire electoral process.
Additionally, the report on the findings after evaluating the video recordings during the implementation of electronic voting in the municipalities of Kamëz, Vorë, and Elbasan for the local government elections on May 14, 2023, was approved.
The Commissioner decided to request the Complaints and Sanctions Commission to impose administrative sanctions on 17 operators of Voting and Counting Electronic Devices (PEVN) responsible for the identified violations.
At the request of the entity Erin Gjoni, the consideration of the draft decision “For the review of the verification result by the Prosecutor General for the self-declared subject Mr. Erin Pjeter Gjoni, member of the Lezhë Municipal Council, proposed by the electoral subject the Social Democratic Party” was postponed.
