In cooperation with OSCE Presence in Albania, we concluded a transparent, months-long dialogue on the administration of the upcoming electoral process with a two-day roundtable discussion titled: Elections 2025: What Should the CEC Do to Improve the Administration of Elections?”

The event brought together members of the Regulatory Commission and the Electoral Complaints and Sanctions Commission (KAS) of the CEC, representatives from political parties, the media, and civil society organizations.

Key topics discussed included:

  1. Reporting by public institutions and handling complaints
  2. Challenges in election administration
  3. Enhancing voter education
  4. Implementation of electronic voting
  5. Media monitoring during election campaigns and strengthening media collaboration
  6. Challenges in enabling voting from abroad

The State Commissioner of Elections, Ilirjan Celibashi, thanked the OSCE Presence in Tirana and Ambassador Michel Tarran for their support in carrying out this series of activities

This initiative is part of the OSCE Presence in Albania project: “Support for Electoral Reform and the Electoral Process in Albania,” funded by Sweden, Switzerland, the U.S. Mission to the OSCE, and Poland.
