The  State Election Commissioner, in today’s meeting approved the procedures of video recordings of the process of evaluation of ballot papers at the BCT and their delivery to the electoral subjects in April 25,2021 parliamentary elections.

In addition, the Commissioner decided the accreditation of some observers for the observation of the election process and filling of vacancies created in the following municipal councils:

1. Lezhë Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-member list of the Social-Democrat Party of Albania, Mr.Alban Bruka;
2. Lezhë Municipal Council,with candidate from the multi-member list of the Social-Democrat Party of Albania,  Mr. Edlir Reçi”;
3. Maliq Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-member list of theSocialist Party of Albania, Mrs. Evisa Jorgo Demollari”;
4. Vau Dejës Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-member list of the Socialist Party of Albania, Mr.Gani Zagani”;
5. Lezhë Municipal Council,with the candidate from the multi-member list of the Social-Democrat Party of Albania, Mr. Marko Jaku”;
6. Lezhë Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-member list of the Social-Democrat Party of Albania, Mr. Rigels Nicaj”;

In today’s meeting , the request of the Democratic Party was reviewed, with the subject “Request for immediate measures to cancel the order of the Minister of Health and Social Protection no. 219, dated 19.04.2021 “On the quarantine of individuals entering the Republic of Albania from the Republic of Northern Macedonia and Greece”.

The State Election Commissioner deemed that this issue is beyond his subject competence as it is the competence of the Minister of Health and Social Protection. Therefore, under these circumstances and in accordance with the provisions of Article 24 “Lack of competence”, of the Code of Administrative Procedure of the Republic of Albania, the State Commissioner decided
