Today, the State Election Commissioner appointed the political parties that will propose the third and fourth members of the Vote Counting Groups for the by-elections for the Mayor of the Municipality of Himara. For the elections of 4 August 2024, the “Socialist Party of Albania” has the right to propose the third member of the VGC and the “Freedom Party” has the right to propose the fourth member of the VGC.

The Commissioner also decided to delegate to the Electoral Administration Area Commission No. 88 the competence to accredit observers of electoral subjects for the Commission of the Electoral Administration Area (KZAZ), the Commissions of the Voting Centres (VCC) and the Ballot Counting Center (BCC).
