Post election verification consists in opening of the election materials and ballots and monitoring and evaluation of the functionality of IT devices used in April 25, 2021 elections.

 

The Central Elections Commission drew today the lot to select 10% of the Voting Centers that will undergo the post election verification, pursuant to article 167/2 of the Electoral Code.

The scope of this process is to check the compliance and accuracy of the activity of election administration during the administration of the process and evaluation and counting of ballots.

Pursuant to Instruction no.15, dated 07.10.2021, “On defining the procedures of post election verification of ballots and election materials”, the electoral subjects may appoint one observers to observe the whole verification process.

 

The post election verification of the ballots and election materials for these VCs will start on Friday, at 12.00 hrs at the CEC.
