The State Election Commissioner, Mr. Ilirjan Celibashi met with the Director of International Institute for Democracy and Election Assistance (Idea international) Mr. Sam Van Der Staak  and Regional Program Officer, Mrs. Blerta Hoxha. 

The focus of the meeting were CEC projects on monitoring and reporting of political parties’ funding on-line, CEC projects for a transparent digital platform of interaction between political parties, monitoring bodies and experts. 

Another topic of the discussion was also potential expertise by IDEA International in the field of cyber security of IT systems and modules at the CEC.

During the meeting, the participants also shared their perspectives on the future of electronic voting of Albanians residing abroad and establishing bridges for mutual cooperation in order to facilitate the implementation of these processes which are of paramount importance for the CEC.
