With the invitation of the Chief Registrar and head of Election Administration Department in LA County, ( L.A. County Registrar-Recorder) Dean Logan, the CEC is holding a several day study tour in California, in order to observe the conduct of mid term elections for the Senate and the Congress of the United States of America.

The International program of Election Experience of LA County, has brought together election officials from many countries that implement election technology, biometric identification and electronic voting.

The State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, Mr. Muharrem Çakaj from the Regulatory Commission and Mr. Koli Bele from CAS, were able to assess the IT infrastructure of LA county, the voting centers which have been opened for days and serve to 5,6 million voters and the innovative system VSAP.

In addition, the participants visited the  administration centers of the election materials, the operational centers of LA county and shared ideas on the administration of elections in Albania.
