The State Election Commissioner Mr. Ilirjan Celibashi met today with the Ambassador of OSCE Presence in Albania,  Mr. Guido De Sanctis. The meeting focused on the preparations for local government elections of May 14, 2023 and cooperation with all stakeholders involved in the election process.

Commissioner Celibashi also discussed with OSCE Ambassador to Tirana the need of Parliamentary Commission for Electoral Reform to take action within the year 2023 , in order to guarantee the legal framework so that the Albanians living abroad to vote in their residence for the parliamentary elections of 2025. 

After coordinating the joint activities, Celibashi thanked Ambassador De Sanctis for his constant support to the CEC and its administration.
