The Regulatory Commission approved a change in decision No. 2, dated 31.10.2020, of the Regulatory Commission, “For the type and technical characteristics that must complement the electronic identification systems and equipment of constituents that are procured and used in elections in the Republic of Albania. The approved change enables the transmission of statistical data from the PEI device towards CEC Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and not vice versa. Transmitting data in this way increases accuracy in obtaining information and receiving it in a fast time.

The Regulatory Commission decided to postpone the review of the draft decision “For some changes to decision No. 4, dated 13.11.2020, of the Regulatory Commission, “For the type and technical characteristics that must complement voting systems and electronic counting systems and equipment that are procured and used in elections in the Republic of Albania”, changed.
