The Regulatory Commission approved the format of data to be transmitted from the Electronic Identification Device to IT infrastructure of the CEC and procedures on the way of transmission. The Decision defined in detail the type of data delivered by PEI and the rules on their transmission.   

The data transmission will be done periodically, one way transmission, and the way of information management will be read only, which makes it impossible to modify the information in the device/to manipulate the data in it.

The new element in today’s approved decision is the available information regarding voters turnout in a timely, accurate and complete manner on national level, as compared to the classical method of sampling applied so far by the CEC.
