The State Election Commissioner adopted the instructional material for the training of Commissions of Election Administration Zones for local government elections. The manual is conceived as a summary of of CEAZ tasks, based on the Electoral Code and regulations adopted by the leading bodies of the CEC. 

The manual has elaborated the procedures followed by the CEAZ on the registration of the candidate for Mayor/ municipal council submitted by the political party/ coalition or those proposed by the voters. In addition, the material addresses the functional tasks of the CEAZ related to the Voting Center Commissions, from their establishment, nomination of VCC members, filling of vacancies on the VCC, accreditation of observers and other issues.

 During today’s public session, the administrative enquiry continued for the violations found in reporting of activities of a public nature by the public institutions, central and local ones as well as state agencies and /or entities for February 10 2023 – February 16, 2023 period. During this period, 244 public activities are reported, out of which 39 reported activities by 16 institutions have breached the deadline for the reporting. The institutions have submitted their claims and at the end of inquiry, the CEC will reach a decision.
