The training session started today with the State Police officers regarding the duties and roles of State Police during the local government elections of May 14,2023.

The State Election Commissioner Mr. Ilirjan Celibashi, the Head of OSCE Presence in Albania, Ambassador Guido De Sanctis, Attorney General Mr. Olsian Çela and the General Director of State Police, Mr. Muhamet Rrumbullaku, addressed the first training of Senior Police Officials at a central and local level in the premises of Security Academy. 

During this event, Commissioner Celibashi highlighted that the State Police has established a solid tradition and this is a guarantee in the election process of May 14 2023 elections and expressed his confidence that Police will display even a higher level of professionalism.  

Celibashi stated that the CEC and State Police share a long tradition of collaboration and that they are willing to respond and address every aspect concerning election organisation. 

The State Election Commissioner thanked OSCE Presence for the unreserved support and the Attorney General Mr. Olsian Cela for the highly professional cooperation.
