Today, the State Election Commissioner filled the vacancies in 7 municipal councils as follows:

1. Belsh Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, Mr. Erjon Qafa”.
2. Shijak Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, Mrs. Mimosa Xhihani”.
3. Rrogozhina Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the subject “Democratic Party of Albania”, Mrs. Merilin Saraçi”.
4. Lezhë Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the subject “Social Democratic Party”, Mr. Elton Bilani”.
5. Lezhë Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the subject “Social Democratic Party”, Mr. Argert Perkola”.
6. Lezhë Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the subject “Social Democratic Party”, Mr. Erin John”.
7. Kurbin City Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the “Albanian Republican Party”, Mr. Hilmi Vuthaj”.
8. The Council of the Municipality of Sarandë, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the subject “Partia Aleanca Arbnore Kombëtre”, Mr. India Rapaj”.
9. Has Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, Mr. Shefqet Dauti”.

Also, the result of the verification of the Attorney General, for the self-declaring subject Mr. Qazim Bici, proposed by the electoral entity “Partia Justice, Integration and Unity”.

The commissioner decided to ban Mr. Qazim Halil Bici, candidate for member of the Shijak municipality council, proposed by the Right, Integration and Unity Party, for the elections of local government bodies on May 14, 2023.
