Today, the State Commissioner for Elections approved the form for collecting signatures for the legislative initiative of the voters in the Republic of Albania, with the representative committee of the Albanian Institute for the Development of the Electoral System, Mr. Kristaq Kume, Mrs. Olta Qejvani and Mr. Linert Lirëza, for the proposal of the draft law “On some amendments and additions to the Law No. 10019, dated 29.12.2008 “Electoral Code of the Republic of Albania”, amended”. The procedure for collecting voters’ signatures must be completed within 3 (three) months from the approval of this decision.
It also filled the vacancies in three municipal councils:
1. Kamëz Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, Mr Bresa lights.
2. Kavajë Municipal Council, with the candidate from the “Together Victory” Coalition electoral list, Mr Enea Stefa.
3. Mirdita Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the Social Democratic Party, Mr Nikolin Luli.
