Today, the Appeals and Sanctions Commission reviewed the elements of the form and content of the request no. 1, of the State Election Commission with the subject “Request for imposing an administrative sanction, in implementation of decision no. 209, dated 11.12.2024 “On the approval of the report on the findings after the evaluation of the video recordings during the implementation of electronic voting in the municipalities of Kamëz, Vorë and Elbasan, for the elections for local government bodies of May 14, 2023”,

KAS decided to proceed to review the request on 24.01.2025, at 11:00.

Also, KAS, at the conclusion of the preliminary review of the complaint request no. 14, filed by TV Kopliku, with the subject “Objection to decision no. 186, dated 09.10.2024 “On the approval of the report of findings from the audit of funds received and spent by political parties participating in the elections for local government bodies, dated May 14, 2023”, of the State Election Commissioner, decided to proceed for review.

After reviewing the request, the KAS partially accepted the request and the repeal of point 103, of the enacting clause of decision no. 186, dated 8.10.2024, of the State Election Commissioner, and imposed the administrative sanction of a fine of 2,500 lek, pursuant to article 171, point 2, of the Electoral Code.

Today, the KAS reviewed the elements of the form and content of the complaint request no. no. 18 filed by RTV Shkodra with the subject “Contestation of decision no. 186, dated 09.10.2024 “On the approval of the report of findings from the audit of funds received and spent by political parties participating in the elections for local government bodies, dated May 14, 2023″, of the State Election Commissioner”.

KAS decided not to proceed with the review of the complaint request.
