Today, the State Election Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi spoke with media representatives about the process of voting from abroad for Albanians living outside the territory of the Republic of Albania.

Commissioner Celibashi emphasized that in the period March 9 – March 12 only registered voters have the right to request to make changes regarding their address and nothing more. Other data is accurate because it is cross-referenced with the Civil Registry data, while the address may need to be corrected by the voters for various reasons.
All citizens living outside the territory of the Republic of Albania and whose request to register as a voter from abroad has been rejected, have the right to appeal to the Tirana Judicial District Court, no later than April 11, 2025, through an online platform that I believe the Supreme Court has set up.

Multi-name list
Party “Together Movement”
The SEC, in response to the interest of media representatives, stated that if the process of approving multi-name lists proceeds normally in terms of the foreseen deadlines, between April 8 and April 16 it is intended to complete the sending of ballots and electoral documentation.
The procedure for selecting the postal service operator is expected to be completed by the end of next week. The sending of ballots to voters from abroad will be by express service and traceable.
