Now that the issue of the content of the ballot paper is resolved and we have its final version, I again would like to bring to the attention of political parties, coalitions and their candidates, their obligation to campaign in compliance with the Electoral Code and all other legal norms, which provide and guarantee free, just and fair elections.

The political parties, candidates and institutions should work in order to guarantee a calm election campaign, which gives the voters the opportunity to be freely informed about political and electoral offers and decide on the party or candidate by their free will. An election outcome which is not a result of such a process, cannot be legitimate.

Therefore, all the parties, candidates and institutions, including CEC itself should fulfill their responsibilities in accordance with the law.

We are all under scrutiny, in what we do and achieve, in relation to the election process. The standard of this elections is related directly with the European Integration process.
