The Regulatory Commission held today a hearing session with the General Director of the Civil Status Office on the methodology and/or criteria used by GDCSO for calculation of the overall number of the citizens and the number of citizens per each region as well as the time these calculations refer to.
In addition, the Regulatory Commission reviewed the draft Decision ” On allocation of the number of seats for each electoral zone for April 25, 2021 parliamentary elections”.
The Regulatory Commission unanimously decided to adopt the allocation of seats per each electoral zone for April 25, 2021, parliamentary elections as follows:
- Berat Region – 7 (seven) seats
- Dibër Region – 5 (five) seats
- Durrës Region – 14 (fourteen) seats
- Elbasan Region – 14 (fourteen) seats
- Fier Region – 16 (sixteen) seats
- Gjirokastër Region – 4 (four) seats
- Korçë Region – 11 (eleven) seats
- Kukës Region – 3 (three) seats
- Lezhë Region – 7 (seven) seats
- Shkodër Region – 11 (eleven) seats
- Tiranë Region – 36 (thirty-six) seats
- Vlorë Region – 12 (twelve) seats
