The State Election Commissioner Mr. Ilirjan Celibashi met with Deputy Minister of Health and member of the Technical Committee of Experts on Covid-19, Mrs. Eugena Tomini.

The aim of the meeting to discuss the current situation of pandemic in Albania and the concerns raised about the voting of the people who are infected by Covid-19 on April 25,2021.

The meeting centered around the impact of the pandemic in the election process and the importance of adherence to the protocols that should be followed and complied with in order to prevent the spread of the virus during the voting and during the ballot counting process.
