The Commission of Sanctions and Complaints reviewed today three complaints filed with the CEC as follows:

• complaint no.8, filed by the electoral subject Socialist Party of Albania, with object  “Appeal to the Decision 198, dated 01.04.2021”On approval of the content of ballot paper for parliamentary elections of April 25,2021” and approval of the ballot paper for 12 Regions of the Republic of Albania for parliamentary elections of April 25,2021, based on the variant of identification of candidates with numbers in the ballot paper.
• complaint no.09, filed by electoral subject Democratic Creed, with object  “Appeal to the Decision 198, dated 01.04.2021”On approval of the content of ballot paper for parliamentary elections of April 25,2021” and approval of the ballot for 12 Regions of the Republic of Albania for parliamentary elections of April 25,2021, based on the variant that contains the redesigned logo of the Democratic Creed, as it was submitted by the Democratic Creed to the CEC with the letter 3010/1, dated 01/04/2021, at 15.50 hrs.
• complaint no.10, filed by electoral subject Democratic Party of Albania, with object “Appeal to Decision no.198, dated 02.04.2021, “On approval of the content of ballot paper for April 25, 2021 parliamentary elections”.

At the end of the review, CSC with majority of votes decided: 

1. To amend Decision no. 198, dated 01.04.2021 of the State Election Commissioner, ” On approval of the content of ballot paper for April 25, 2021 parliamentary elections”.
2.  To uphold the complaint no. 08, filed by the Socialist Party of Albania.
3. To uphold the complaint no. 09, filed by the Democratic Creed Party, by inserting in the content of the ballot the redesigned logo, filed by this electoral subject.
4. To reject the complaint no.10, filed by Democratic Party-Alliance for Change.
