The State Election Commissioner, in today’s meeting reviewed the report on Audio Visual Media Authority on media monitoring of the coverage of election campaign from March 26, 2021 to April 23,2021 and observing of electoral silence.
The Commissioner decided to impose an administrative fine on RTSH at the amount of 2 000 000 leke, based on article 174, item 2 of the Electoral Code, as RTSH 2 and RTSH Kukes have breached the electoral campaign silence provision by airing reports on political subjects’ activity during election campaign.
The State Election Commissioner also allocated the MP mandate to the candidate from the multi-member list of the Social Democrat Party, Shkoder Region, Mrs. Jetmira Rexhep Rraboshta.
