During today’s session, the State Election Commissioner approved the quantity of ballots to be produced for each voting center for mayoral by elections of March 6,2022.

According to the voters number provided by the General Directorate of Civil Status Office,  with an additional 2 per cent,  based on the Electoral Code provisions, the total number of ballots to be produced for the local by elections in the municipalities of Shkodër, Durrës, Dibër, Vorë, Rrogozhinë, Lushnjë, is 667.629 ballots. 

In addition, the Commissioner designated the political parties that will propose the third and the fourth member of the Ballot Counting Team for mayoral by elections. The political party of the parliamentary majority that  has the right to nominate the third member of BCT is the Socialist Party of Albania, while the party of the parliamentary opposition that has the right to nominate the fourth member of BCT is the Socialist Movement for Integration.
