The State Election Commissioner approved the instruction on determining the rules for submitting and verifying candidacy documentation, deadlines for publishing candidate lists and approving candidacy models for local government elections.”

Pursuant to Article 72, point 1 of the Electoral Code, the templates of candidacy documents were approved, which must be filled in by political parties, electoral coalitions, and candidates supported by voters to be registered as electoral subjects for the elections on May 14, 2023.

Also, in today’s public session, the Commissioner decided to use security codes for the electronic voting device and the electronic counting of voters. The security codes serve to lock any internal components and/or physical communication ports of the Electronic Voting and Electronic Voter Counting Equipment (PEVN), as well as to lock the suitcase for transporting the PEVN.
