The Regulatory Commission approved several amendments to  the Decision no.4, dated  13.11.2020, of the Regulatory Commission” On the type and technical criteria to be met by the systems and electronic voting and counting devices which are procured in the Republic of Albania ” as amended”.

The approved changes provide that at the end of the voting process, in order to reflect the preliminary results of each voting center, PEVN, after printing the voting result Record, enables the delivery of this result with a maximal security and without infringing the integrity of information to the Electronic System of Ballot and Results Management (SEMVR) to the CEC and not vice versa. 

This provision is added for a more efficient management and to reduce the time of issuing the results.

At the end of the voting on election day, PEVN will deliver the result in a closed communication with the core system of the CEC.
