State Election Commissioner Mr. Ilirjan Celibashi today held an informative meeting at the Central Election Commission of Albania with four members of the European Parliament who are part of the Election Observation Delegation. They are here to observe the local election that will be developed on May 14, 2023 along with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Election Observation Mission.

The Commissioner Celibashi expressed his gratitude to the Members of the European Parliament for observing the process on May 14, 2023, and presented to them, as well as to the Ambassador of the European Union in Tirana, Ms. Christiane Hohmann, all the preparations made by the Central Election Commission in accordance with international standards for election administration.
