Review of complaint no.77 and 84 concluded

The Complaints and Sanctions Commission reviewed the complaint no. 77, dated 22.05.2023, filed by the Progressive Alliance Party LZHK, with object “Appeal to decision no. 674, dated 17.05.2023, ruled by CEAZ no. 15 Kurbin”.

The electoral subject Progressive Alliance LZHK had requested opening of a box which was declared by CEAZ as irregular, counting of ballots and the inclusion of the result in the Aggregate Table of Results. After the inspection of election material, CSC found that the box was greatly damaged and for this reason, it decided to dismiss the subject’s request and uphold the decision of the CEAZ.

CSC also reviewed the complaint no. 84, dated 24.05.2023, filed by the Demo- Christian Alliance Party, with the object “Appeal to CEC and CEAZ Decision: Appeal of the Approval of Aggregate Table of Results for Election of Kamza Municipal Council and tabulation of a new aggregate table, after reviewing the election material, based on this complaint. Re-evaluation of valid and invalid votes for some electoral subjects in some of the ballot boxes for Municipal Council, Kamëz. Reassessment for unjustified modification in the Electronic Aggregate Table Results for Kamez Municipal Council.

CSC decided to dismiss the appeal, since the complainant did not meet the elements of the form and content of the appeal, based on the deadline previously set by CSC.
