Central Election Commission welcomed a study visit from a delegation of the Central Election Commission of Georgia headed by Chair Giorgi Kalandarishvili, within the framework of the Council of Europe Project “Supporting Transparency, Inclusiveness, and Integrity of Electoral Practice and Processes in Georgia”.
During the three-day visit to the premises of the Central Election Commission, the Georgian delegation was acquainted with the implementation of technological systems in the electoral processes in the country.
In addition to information regarding the use of technology in elections, the Georgian delegation received comprehensive information about the Albanian electoral system, the structures of election administration, voter education, challenges in the process of adapting poll workers to technological innovations, voter list preparation, deadlines for submission of documentation by electoral subjects, information loading processes into devices, and other related topics.
