CEC part of the 11th International Conference of Electoral Administration Bodies in Batumi, Georgia

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Albania participated in the 11th International Conference of Electoral Management Bodies (EMBs) in Batumi, Georgia, an event focused on the important topic of implementing electronic technologies in elections.

In this process, the sharing of experiences and best practices among electoral administrations, representatives of international organizations, and experts promoted efficient cooperation, trustworthy elections, and the overall development of democracy.

Over 100 representatives from 25 different electoral administrations, international organizations working on election issues, and accredited diplomatic missions in Georgia took part in the conference, where the CEC of Albania presented its experience with the extensive use of technology in elections.

It was discussed various challenges in implementing electronic voting systems and about the importance of security, accessibility, transparency, and public trust in electronic voting systems, sharing practices from our respective countries.
