State Commissioner of Elections, Mr. Ilirjan Celibashi participated today in the discussion table on the topic “Challenges and Opportunities for Electoral Reform,” organized by ISP and ASP with the support of the Dutch Embassy.

In this forum, Celibashi emphasized that the legal vacuum identified by the Constitutional Court must be promptly addressed by the Albanian Parliament, enabling the voting of Albanian citizens residing abroad in the 2025 elections.

During this round-table, the participants discussed the monitoring findings and public perception of electoral reform, OSCE/ODIHR recommendations, short-term priorities, and opportunities for an electoral reform that is as transparent, inclusive, with integrity, and has a positive impact on raising election standards in Albania.
