The State Election Commissioner, held a public meeting pursuant to paragraph 2, article 19, letter n, paragraph 1, article 19 of the law no. 10019, dated 29.12.2008 “The Electoral Code of the Republic of Albania” as amended, to review and adopt acts in his competence.
The Commissioner reviewed the draft decisions to review the request of 10 political parties to be registered as electoral subjects in April 25,2021 parliamentary elections. After reviewing the documentation, the Commissioner decided to register the following as electoral subjects:
- Movement for Change Party
- Albanian Democratic Movement Party
- Hour of Albania Party
- Albanian Democratic Alliance
- Democratic Belief Party
- Legality Movement Party
- Justice, Integration and Unity Party
- National Front Party
- Albanian Emigration Party
- Democratic Reforms of Albanian Party
In addition, the Commissioner decided to register the initiating committee that will coordinate the work for representation of Mr.Pal Shkembi as a candidate proposed by the voters in the election zone of Shkoder Region and the initiating committee that will coordinate the work for representation of Mr. Plarent Aleksi as a candidate proposed by the voters in the election zone of Berat Region.
