E- voting, Celibashi: Device has the right parameters that guarantee the integrity of vote.

The Central Elections Commission demonstrated the electronic voting device, as part of the a pilot project for electronic voting and counting. The aim of the simulation of electronic voting was to make the voters familiar with the voting procedure and electronic voting device.

The State Election Commissioner, Mr. Ilirjan Celibashi stated that “The demonstrated device meets the criteria of being easy to use for voters, and provides all the necessary conditions and guarantees for the integrity of vote for each voter ”. 

 All the voters of Election Administration Zone no. 40, where the pilot project on electronic voting and counting will be implemented in April 25, 2021 parliamentary elections, will have the opportunity to be part of the simulation of electronic voting process.  

The simulation of electronic voting process is being held in the premises of “Qemal Stafa” school, for a nine-day period, based on a pre-determined agenda, with different days and timetables, in order to prevent large gatherings of people, in compliance with anti-Covid 19 measures.
