The Regulatory Commission, in its today’s meeting reviewed the draft Decision “On defining the rules of financial reporting of electoral subjects, the control and verification of their financing and expenditure during election campaign”.
The Decision establishes specific rules for completing, filing, controlling and verification of financial reporting which is submitted by political parties, either when they run alone or as part of a coalition, including their candidates and the candidates proposed by the voters.
In addition, the reporting templates were approved for political parties, their candidates and candidates proposed by the voters, templates of audit reports for the auditors appointed by the CEC to check the financial reports of election campaign of electoral subjects and the deadlines for publication of reports. The decision also defined the roles and responsibilities of the finance officers of political parties.
